$50.00 per hour

First 50 hours via technology is approved by the NCSWCLB

Final 50 hours requires approval from the NCSWCLB after completing 40 hour of clinical supervision.

Per NCSWCLB's LCSWA FAQs: "You may begin clinical practice as soon as you have a Clinical Supervisor in place and have submitted your required paperwork [to NCSWCLB]."

You may not begin clinical social work / treating clients until have have a clinical supervisor and are attending clinical supervision, at least, every other week.

Individuals seeking supervision as an LCAS-A must get clinical supervision from a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) or Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI). An LCAS cannot provide clinical supervision for full licensure.
